Set Run Parameters

The purpose of this dialog box is to set the run parameters.

Controls:

• The number associated with the next successfully started run will equal the Current run number + Run number increment.
• The preset effective fluence is selected by separately entering the mantissa and the exponent in power of ten. These values are combined and the result is displayed in the following read-only box.
• Based on the CURRENT value of effective LET in the selected substrate material, preset dose in rad is calculated from the preset effective fluence. The result is displayed in the read-only edit box below.
• Preset time can be entered in any combination of hours, minutes, and seconds. When the Convert button is clicked, the time is converted to seconds. The next time the button is clicked, the time will be displayed in the proper hh:mm:ss format.

NOTE 1: The run will be suspended on user demand or when the first preset value is reached. After that, the run can be continued until stopped by the user.

NOTE 2: A preset value of zero is equivalent to infinity (i.e., no preset at all).
